A urinary tract infection (UTI) is painful for humans and dogs alike. The aching, urgent feeling of needing to go right now and then only dribbling out a tiny bit of urine can be incredibly uncomfortable and can lead to serious medical problems if left untreated.
maxxiUtract urinary support for dogs helps you to care for your dog’s urinary health. The carefully selected active ingredients support both the urinary tract and bladder function, allowing your dog to happily carry on with their vital basic needs.
Urinary tract infections and urinary tract stones are unfortunately common in dogs.
It is important to see a vet if you suspect your dog may be having any urinary issues. The vet will run the necessary tests and decide on a treatment, most likely antibiotics if the diagnosis is UTI (the current standard of care for uncomplicated UTI in dogs).
Alongside your vet’s advice, maxxiUtract offers gentle daily support for your dog’s urinary tract and bladder, as part of their everyday care.
Some dogs need a little extra urinary care, every day.
The carefully chosen natural ingredients in maxxiUtract nurture the urinary tract tissues and support healthy urine flow. They support normal bladder and urinary tract health as part of daily care.
maxxiUtract is also high in natural antioxidants, which help to neutralise free radicals, and it supports normal bladder control.
Urinary health is about much more than just UTI. Many things can affect a dog’s lower urinary system, from incontinence to bladder stones or crystals in the urine, so always check with your vet if something seems wrong.
maxxiUtract cares for your dog’s urinary and bladder health by supporting the whole of the urinary system, every day.
D-mannose is a simple sugar related to glucose. It occurs naturally in the body and in some fruits and plants.
Why is D-mannose in maxxiUtract?
D-mannose is widely used to support urinary tract health. Most of it passes through the body into the bladder and leaves with the urine, which is why it is a popular choice for daily urinary care in dogs. It works together with cranberry, which is also in maxxiUtract.
D-mannose is one of the most researched natural ingredients for urinary tract health, and research is ongoing. If your dog shows any urinary symptoms, always see your vet first.
Cranberry is an evergreen shrub, and cranberry berry extract is made from its berries. Cranberries are rich in antioxidants and in plant compounds called proanthocyanidins (PACs).
Why is cranberry in maxxiUtract?
Cranberry is one of the best-known natural ingredients for urinary tract health. Its PACs support a healthy bladder lining, and it works together with D-mannose to support your dog’s urinary tract every day.
Cranberry has been studied for urinary tract health in both people and pets, and research is ongoing. Cranberry is not a replacement for antibiotics: if your dog shows signs of a urinary problem, please see your vet.
Pumpkin extract is made from pumpkin seeds, which have traditionally been used to support urinary health.
Why is pumpkin seed extract in maxxiUtract?
Pumpkin seeds are rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants. They support normal bladder function and bladder control, and they have a mild natural diuretic effect.
Silica (a.k.a. silicon dioxide) is a mineral that is often overlooked (some call it the forgotten nutrient). Silica is a natural compound made of two of the earth’s most abundant materials: silicon and oxygen. Which means you find silica everywhere, in rocks, plants, food, medicine, cosmetics, and in the body.
Silica used in the food and beverage industry is safe to take orally. Silica that is consumed through the diet does not accumulate in the body, i.e. it is flushed out by the kidneys.
Cornsilk is the long, shiny fibres at the top of an ear of corn. It contains proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and fibre, and it has traditionally been used to support urinary health.
Why is cornsilk in maxxiUtract?
Cornsilk is a natural diuretic, which means it helps the body flush out excess water and supports healthy urine flow. It also supports the protective layer that lines the bladder, helping to keep the urinary tract comfortable.
Magnesium is a mineral that every cell in the body needs to work properly. Magnesium citrate is magnesium bound to citrate, a form the body absorbs easily.
Why is magnesium in maxxiUtract?
Magnesium supports normal muscle function, including the muscles of the bladder, and so supports healthy urination and normal bladder control.
Pyridoxine (a.k.a. vitamin B6) is one of eight B vitamins. It is required for the proper function of sugars, fats, and proteins in the body. It is important for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous system and immune system healthy.
Riboflavin (a.k.a. vitamin B2) is required for the proper development of many things in the body including the skin, lining of the digestive tract, blood cells and brain function.
Vitamin B2 is a water-soluble vitamin that is flushed out of the body daily, meaning it must be restored each day.
No. No supplement can treat a urinary tract infection. If you suspect that your dog has a UTI, please see your vet. The vet will run the necessary tests and decide on a treatment, most likely antibiotics (the current standard of care for uncomplicated UTI in dogs).
Antibiotics tend to be an effective way of treating urinary tract infections. maxxiUtract is not a medicine and does not replace them, but it offers gentle, nurturing support for your dog’s urinary tract and bladder when they need it most, as part of their daily care.
Always tell your vet which supplements your dog is taking.
maxxiUtract combines D-mannose and cranberry berry extract, two of the best-known natural ingredients for urinary tract health, with pumpkin seed extract, cornsilk, silica, magnesium and B vitamins.
D-mannose and cranberry support a healthy urinary tract and bladder lining, while cornsilk and pumpkin seed support healthy urine flow and normal bladder control.
Urinary health is about much more than just UTI. Many things can affect a dog’s lower urinary system, from incontinence to bladder stones or crystals in the urine, so always check with your vet if something seems wrong.

We always recommend starting slowly with any new supplement and gradually increasing the amount given. This allows your dog to get used to the new ingredients, both the taste and texture, and helps to minimise the risk of any potential stomach upset.
The recommended maintenance amount is shown on the back of the label. Your vet may advise a different amount for your dog, for example the saturation amount (double the maintenance amount) for the first few weeks. You can then go back to the maintenance amount.
This is one of the many benefits of a powder: it is easy to adjust the amount in line with your dog’s needs over time.
The easiest way to administer maxxiUtract is to mix it in with your dog’s food. maxxiUtract does not contain any artificial flavours, colours, preservatives or binders. It has a natural flavour and the vast majority of dogs happily eat their food when maxxiUtract has been added to it.
However, there are always exceptions. If your dog is not accepting maxxiUtract for some reason, please contact us directly and we will offer you some additional tips and support. If we cannot together get your dog to happily accept his new supplement, we will fully refund you.
Because no matter how effective maxxiUtract is, it will not work if the dog is not taking it. Fortunately, when we have had the opportunity to work with the owners, we have in most cases been successful in getting the dogs to accept their supplements. Which is exactly what we both want. For your dog to feel better with the help of our product.
We do not accept any manufacturing batch unless it conforms to all product specifications.
The Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document issued by Quality Assurance which confirms that the product meets its product specification. It contains the actual results obtained from testing performed as part of the quality control of every individual batch of a product.
If you would like to see the Certificate of Analysis for your production batch of maxxiUtract just e-mail us the LOT number (on the bottom of your container) and we will e-mail you a copy.
The best by date is printed on the bottom of the container.
Yes, you can. Many owners give maxxiUtract alongside a probiotic, as healthy gut flora is part of overall wellbeing.
It is important to choose the right probiotic. Not all probiotics survive the harsh environment of the stomach, so they may not reach the gut where they are needed.
